Recently I received the Montenegro Method DVD set at Bloggers on Bourbon and while not jumping into the program headfirst, I've incorporated the Strength and Endurance DVDs into my own workout. Wow! They incorporate much of what I've been reading about as beneficial in Oxygen magazine: circuit training, tri sets, plyometrics and more. While I haven't utilized the dietary recommendations just yet, it's clear this program would work. Since I've also been running and preparing to get Zumba certified by attending classes, I'm using Montenegro as a supplement but am thinking of jumping right in with the whole kit and caboodle. It's no walk in the park, but for 21 minutes I can do just about anything. (Except possibly one move in Endurance, Workout 1 that is just a wee too much for my hamstrings.) We'll keep you posted...
